Antique English Bookcase, Newly Painted in the Regency Style
About the Item
A two piece bookcase or cabinet from the later half of the 19th century but newly painted a pale green in the Regency style with faux distress. Both the top section and the bottom have non adjustable shelves with plenty of good storage. The bottom section is 37.5 inches high. The interior is quite clean. Both top and bottom keys are new, the top lock working in conjunction with a functional top latch. The bottom key operates more as a dummy, just to pull open the door, as the lock does not function, but the doors close snugly. Elegant and simple.
