Art Nouveau Bookcase 1905 Wiener Werkstätte Period

About the Item

Austro-Hungarian Wiener Werkstätte period bookcase , made around 1905, attributed to Koós Károly (Hungarian architect and designer), decorated with hand carved elements, such as birds and river. Made of polished oak, hand hammered red copper , original cut glass, original locks and keys, original hardware (1 pc of hardware is missing) Dimensions in cm: Height: 205cm , Length 250cm, Depth 55cm Dimensions in inches: Height 80.71, Length 98.43, Depth 21.65 Artist / Creator: Attributed to Koós Károly Condition: restored, re polished in 2011 otherwise in authentic good condition comparing the age. We are happy to provide additional condition report, but since we are not a professional conservators, you may ask one you trust Period: 1905-1910 Style: Art Nouveau / Arts and Craft / Secession / Jugendstil.
