English Mahogany Bookcase on Stand

About the Item

The upper display cabinet of this mahogany bookcase on stand has the original wavy glass doors. The side stiles of the drawers are fluted and the frieze has blind fretwork. The crown molding has ogee shaped dentil work. The top has a broken arch with pierced fretwork. The lower section has a modified serpentine shape with blind fretwork on the drawer and side panels. The lower shelf has a concave shape with a scalloped gallery. There are some indentations on the top surface commensurate with age and use.
