George III Glazed Mahogany Secretary Bookcase

About the Item

A Georgian mahogany beurau bookcase with 4 long drawers raised on bracket feet. The desk fitted with a delicate interior retaining all its original drawers and keys. The astral glazed top with a broken arch pediment and brass eagle. In good clean order throughout with some historic repairs such as some of the glass and a break to the top drawer front as seen in the images. The book case in in good clean condition. It is well in excess of 200 years old and does show signs of use. Some light restoration has been carried out but overall in in original country house condition and rather attractive. Measures: 90cm wide 48cm deep 223cm high.
