Lovely circa 1900 Hand Carved Library Bookcase in Hardwood with Herm Statues

We are delighted to offer this stunning original mahogany library bookcase with herm carved statues and Lion hairy paw feet to the base A good looking and well made piece, its rare to find one with the ornately carved Herm statues on the sides, Herms was used on the front of ships masts so this piece has a nautical theme. The feet are Lion’s hair paw in the 17th century manner The shelves are all removable and or height adjustable so this piece can accept almost any size book We have deep cleaned, had condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, it is in very fine order throughout Dimensions Height:- 156.5cm Width:- 137cm Depth:- 41cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
