About the Item
Wonderful Model 2589 Cabinet designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture as part of the Far East Collection. This piece features solid walnut construction, adjustable shelves in the lower cabinet, integrated lighting in the upper cabinet, unique, carved, interlocking ring drawer/door pulls and gorgeous flamed walnut veneer doors. Aside from a few minor stains to the center of the top and a small chip repair to door pull, this cabinet is in remarkable original condition. It even still has it original shipping tag on the back! Final photo shows this cabinet as it appeared in the 1955 Baker Furniture catalog. This is a stunning mid-century piece that offers plenty of display as well as extensive interior storage.
