Charro Buffet Cabinet
About the Item
The Charro buffet cabinet by Taylor Donsker is crafted of solid, highly figured California Claro Walnut. The grain of the wood flows across each cabinet top and each cabinet face. The cases feature hand cut dovetail joinery for generations of strength. To provide a contrast to the warm hues in the wood, Taylor used a torch to char/burn the wood, creating a gorgeous, even blackened surface that maintained the natural texture and visibility of the wood grain. The interiors of the cabinets feature equally stunning solid Claro walnut with custom designed reveals for the backs of the cabinets to allow the solid wood to breathe over time. Each cabinet door features European soft close hardware in a polished nickel finish. Handcrafted in Northern California and finished with a hand rubbed oil/wax finish.
