Antique French Cabinet Renaissance carved oak bookcase wine cellarette sideboard.
Directly imported from France, another beautifully hand carved antique cabinet, in a versatile taller size, with unique features! Lavish carvings include columns of dimensional lion masks over carved fruits that flank the upper door. Door panel has carved Renaissance tree of life; large lower door panels with coordinating floral and foliate carvings.
Another unique detail here is the upper side door for additional access; we believe this was probably used for a wine/liquor cabinet in the 18th century! Other features include heavy double moulding above the large bun feet. Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
Measurements: 55.5” height. x 32” x 21”.
