Antique French Directoire Glazed Cabinet with Crossed Water-Gilded Arrows

About the Item

About as original as can be, this stellar antique only received a minimal amount of conservation in our highly regarded workshop. Constructed of exotic rosewood, the case packs quite a punch with its rich black ebonized trim and sophisticated 23-karat water gilded gold arrows. Designed in the Directoire style, this gorgeous showpiece is the bee's knees; it even retains a very old but, presentable bluish gray interior wash.
