We are delighted to offer for sale this original Vintage wood sample cabinet from Bevan Funnell
This cabinet has hundreds of wood samples in all kinds of woods, Burr walnut, Yew, Mahogany and so on, they were used to send out to customers as tester samples
This is a furniture restorers dream, imagine all the splicing and repairs you could do with this piece. Alternatively, if your creative you can make sample wood furniture. It’s something made famous by the genius’s at Gillows of Lancaster and London in the early 1800’s, their sample wood pieces sell for small fortunes
