Big Bar Cabinet by Louis Paolozzi for René Godfroid

About the Item

Beautiful bar cabinet designed by Louis Paolozzi for the French manufacturer René Godfroid. With this cabinet, Paolozzi introduced the well-known Italian design from the 1950s to the Rene Godfroid collection. Note the beautifully shaped base and the seemingly invisible drawers. René Godfroid was a French high-end manufacturer, The cabinet is made of an oak veneer corpus with solid oak end stripes to prevent damage. The base is made of solid mahogany with copper cover plates. Please note that this type of cabinet is made in two different heights. The one presented here is the tall cabinet with long legs, giving it a good amount of storage space. H x w x d = 162 x 156 x 50 cm / 63,8 x 61,4 x 19,7 inch.
