Continental Baroque Revival Burled Walnut Cabinet in a Bombé Form
About the Item
A fine example of a Continental Baroque Revival burled walnut one piece cabinet in a bombé form with arched carved foliate crest surmounting two conforming glass glazed doors which open to a two shelf interior, side glass panels, over three long shaped drawers, each adorned with scrolled ormolu hardware, canted shaped corners, and nicely carved skirt with wonderful carved paw feet. The piece dates to the early 20th century and is in very good overall condition, with some minor veneer craquelure on the drawer fronts, other minor imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use.
