English Carved Mahogany Serving Cabinet
About the Item
The top of this serving cabinet has a carved gadrooned molding. The frieze has blind fretwork. The right hand double doors are both functioning doors whereas the left hand is actually one single door. The blind fretwork in the upper frieze is repeated in the apron below the doors. The doors have recessed panels with molded rosette appliques on all corners. The center and corner stiles have bellflower appliques. The legs have acanthus leaf carving and terminate in ball and claw feet.
