English Edwardian Satinwood Styled Bowfront Case with Painted Panels

A bowfront cabinet in the Edwardian satinwood style with oval insets of classical ladies in the manner of Adam Painter
Angelica Kauffman . Presents very well .Beautifully rippled wood graining that changes as you move in almost pristine condition . The interior fitted with three birch sliding trays ., the whole on toupie feet . Custom or bespoke made probably mid-20th century , England .
Maria Anna Angelika Kauffmann RA, usually known in English as Angelica Kauffman, was a Swiss Neoclassical painter who had a successful career in London and Rome. Remembered primarily as a history painter, Kauffmann was a skilled portraitist, landscape and furniture decoration painter .
In generally good condition with a few blemishes , dirty or grimed feet .. Some interior wear with sliding trays pulled in and out over time . Usual minute dents ,dings and light abrasions.
