Fine 18th/19th Century Figured Burl Wood Breakfront

About the Item

An oantique Burl Wood Cabinet with very fine form and excellent color enhanced by a later Turquoise painted interior. Finely constructed with canted sides and tiered carved shaped cornice. The top section with glazed side panels and double doors with mullions. The interior painted pale green with two supports for shelves (lacking the shelves) and a light. Lower double doors with inner banding, opening to a single shelf. All doors with finely chased brass escutcheons (lacking the lower right one). With two keys. The carved base raised on all bracket feet. H. 80", W. 50", Depth 13 1/2" Condition:Please see all detail photos. There are signs of age with the lower right door with repair to the upper left curved piece, two stable age cracks across the interior top back, some expected small cracks and losses here and there but do not detract from the overall very fine presentation. Lacking the upper shelves.
