French 19th Century Cabinet Signed Deny, Paris

About the Item

An extremely high quality French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. cabinet, signed "Deny, Paris". This elegant mahogany and ormolu mounted three door and one drawer cabinet is raised by topie shaped supports ending with ormolu sabots. The large paneled door is below a highly decorated drawer with a scrolled foliate ormolu mounted plaque with handles. Above are two doors with double ormolu bands. The top with a wonderful female central ormolu mount is amidst beaded bands. The Brèche D'Alep marble above. All original gilt, hardware and exceptional mahogany quality throughout.
