An unusual French 19th century Louis XV st. kingwood and tulipwood two part cabinet joined by a central shelf. The two cabinet ends with a door have an interior shelf. The outside is inlaid with a tulipwood banding on The top, front and sides. The whole is decorated by fine ormolu mounts and a central Sèvres porcelain plaque. The cabinets are raised by ormolu supports below two cherubs. Moulded border tops.

Height 41 in. Width 38 in. Depth 20 in. Jean-François Oeben, ébéniste du roi in 1754 and maître in circa 1761.
