French Highboard in Pine and Brass Details

About the Item

Highboard, pine, brass, France, 1960s This two door highboard shows a sturdy character. The doors can be closed and opened with a key used as a handle. The inside provides great storage space. The wood joints specialize the design and highlight the admirable craftsmanship. The solution of the top adds certain elegance to the design. The pine features a naturalistic, visual texture that shows expressive wood grains. The overall appearance of this wardrobe strongly resembles the work by Franz Xaver Sproll. Please note that this item is in good, used condition. The wood shows some signs of wear and age.
