French Mahogany Vernis Martin Vitrine

About the Item

French mahogany, gilt metal Vernis Martin vitrine. The flared serpentine top with pierced Rococo motif. Over a pair of serpentine glazed doors and sides, enclosing upholstered silk interior with two glass shelves. The lower doors and sides with Vernis Martin panels depicting courting couples in landscapes. Raised on cabriole legs with foliate gilt metal mounts, united by a shaped apron. Dimensions: Height 80.5 inches Width 48 inches Depth 20 inches.
