Georgian Mahogany Collector's Cabinet, 19th Century
About the Item
Georgian Mahogany collector's cabinet
A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian inlaid mahogany two door collector's cabinet.
The pair of doors have recessed panels with box wood line inlay decoration and a reeded gilt brass bead where the doors meet.
The right hand door has a lock and key, the left hand door has two sliding bolts.
The interior has eight graduated drawers that are beech and pine wood lined.
The drawer fronts are figured mahogany veneered, box wood line inlaid and have turned bone knob handles.
The cabinet stands on block feet with chequered inlay fronts and the cabinet top is cross banded and box wood edged.
The cabinet is in very good condition.
