Late Victorian Satinwood Serpentine Display Cabinet
About the Item
Sn4352, superb quality and very stylish late Victorian display cabinet / vitrine of serpentine outline, having moulded cornice above string inlaid frieze and glazed door enclosing newly lined interior with two shelves, all flanked by serpentine glazed sides, all standing on slender string inlaid legs terminating in spade feet. This antique china cabinet retains its original finish which has been cleaned, revived and waxed, soft and mellow colour and patina. It is a truly wonderful example in beautiful condition, circa 1890
