Neoclassical Italian Painted Pyramidal Cabinet with Giltwood Details
About the Item
20th century Italian neoclassical painted pyramidal cabinet, in two parts, the tapering upper case with shelved interior, and brass mesh doors. The lower paneled case has two blind doors that open to fitted, velvet-lined drawers over additional shelving.
The cream body of the cabinet has a beautifully patinated antique finish that is accented with a deep blue gray paint and giltwood trim. The shaped upper cabinet (which is lightly concave) contains a pair of doors having wire mesh inset fronts, removable pocket curtains on the interior, and decorative brass knob hardware. The cabinet's interior is painted to match the deep blue gray of the accents on the exterior.
The cabinet's base measures 32.5" tall x 54.38" wide x 20.25" deep. The upper cabinet is 53.88" tall and the overall height is 86.38" tall.
