Pair of 19th Century English George III Style Mahogany Pedestal Cabinets

About the Item

This pair of 19th Century George III style pedestal cabinets are crafted from mahogany in a distinctly Classical manner. Each cabinet is rectangular in shape, standing on a stepped base. Each cabinet features a large cupboard, opening to a single shelf, the door of the cupboard featuring a large classical medallion with foliate swag and a carved rams head at the top. Above the cupboard of each pedestal is a drawer, the front with a medallion center and laurel garland that terminate with carved rams heads. The top of each pedestal features a stepped podium. Each piece in the pair functions as a cabinet and a pedestal.
