Vintage Italian Renaissance NYC Plaza Hotel Mahogany Mirrored Dry Bar Hutch
About the Item
An impressive dry bar / tv cabinet reclaimed from The Plaza Hotel of NYC in the 1990s. Drawing inspiration from French and Italian styling. A tall case made from mahogany with mirrored beveled hutch doors. This stately piece would have been used within one of the hotel suites. Features an ornately carved crown, chamfered stiles, applied foliate and cabriole legs. Opens via brass acorn hardware to an upper television space with two drawers. TV area can easily be modified to hold shelves for additional storage. Base opens to four drawers along the left and three shelves to the right. The lower right side of the cabinet used to hold a mini bar and bears the original "Private Bar" label.

It is comprised of wonderful Philippine Mahogany and finished all the way around so it can float nicely in any room you choose, plus we have added a lovely new black painted base… and it looks FABULOUS! The front double doors are spilt at the top and in the center by a wood handle that runs the length of the doors of the cabinet. So, you can open the smaller top section and leave the lower portion closed or vice versa. The right door closes over the left, so simply pull the right-hand door using the handle which reveals the inside of the cabinet featuring shelves and a small center storage unit with doors.
