This is a beautiful vintage Country House Pillar Post Letter Box, dating from the second half of the 20th century. The solid walnut country house pillar post letter box is cylinder shaped and features a hexagonal shaped top with a brass posting slot that is engraved 'LETTERS' , a brass plaque to the door and a drawer to the base. The door is fitted with a working lock and key. It is a lovely piece which is sure to add amusment where ever it is placed.
