American Sheraton Curly Maple Chest

About the Item

A nicely figured New England Curly Maple Sheraton chest 1815-20. White Pine secondary wood with period glass knobs on the four cock beaded graduated size drawers. Very old and possibly an original surface with a great color and patina. The drawers are all gliding smoothly in the case. Old repairs to the sides of the drawer bottoms and minor old veneer repairs to the drawer dividers. There are traces of what looks like the original makers label on the back. A very attractive American piece in very good condition. Overall condition is very good with the usual surface imperfections as expected with age and use.
