About the Item
Antique country French commode ~ chiffoniere is the perfect answer for a cozy niche, an efficient floor plan, or just as an accent piece between a couple of windows, in a hallway, or anywhere your needs require! Hand-crafted from solid oak, it features a contoured and beveled top overlooking five drawers, each finely carved with whimsical Country French designs featuring wildflowers with nice bordering, and centered with steel bale pulls. Even the rounded cornerposts are carved with complementary motifs, as is the boldly scrolled apron and legs below. Even though it provides a minimal footprint on the floor plan, it provides surprising storage and organizational opportunity, with a nice display surface in the bargain!
