An outstanding Japanned chinoiserie Queen Anne style dresser or chest of drawers Procured from the Historic Edgecroft Mansion in River Edge, NJ Made by The Company of Master Craftsmen USA, circa 1920s Painted with chinoiserie scenes, with original brass hardware. Measures: 46.25"W x 20"D x 34"H. Good original vintage condition. The Company of Master Craftsmen was a subsidiary of W. & J. Sloane, a luxury furniture and rug store in New York City that catered to the prominent, including the White House and the Breakers, and wealthy, including the Rockefeller, Whitney, and Vanderbilt families.
