About the Item

Chiffonier / Dresser from the Mid-19th Century Finished with Shellac We present you this so-called 7-day dresser made of coniferous wood veneered with mahogany from mid-19th Century. Most probably the item was manufactured in Western Europe (Netherlands). The piece is composed of two sections: three drawers and a sliding top in the lower one and an add-on unit with four drawers in the upper. Furthermore, the drawer fronts are shaped wavily and can be locked with the key. All is complemented by striking fittings. Presented dresser has been restored and finished in shellac. The color of shellac is in line with original color.
