English 19th Century Military Campaign Chest
About the Item
English military officer’s Campaign chest of drawers. Made solid mahogany with original brass fittings.
In two parts. Traditional formation with three over two drawers.
The locks on the two upper drawers have later been replaced with iron locks. The three lower drawers with the original brass locks.
England c. 1880.
Campaign -era chests were the travel items of British military officers who bought and commissioned them for their campaigns abroad.
