French Art Deco Commode Burr Walnut With Mirror & Marble, France, circa 1925

About the Item

Phenomenal Art Deco commode or buffet from the period around 1925 in France. Amazing bookmatched burr walnut on the front was set in a very impressive manner and gives this fantastic designed Art Deco buffet an absolute great appearance. The divided compartment behind the two large wide opening lockable doors is adorned by delicate brass fittings and provides a lot of space. Additional highlights are the still original facet cut mirror in the hand carved nut wood panel on top as well as the two inlayed orange marble plates. A marvelous masterpiece from the French Art Deco period coming in perfect restored condition, sealed by a Classic hand-polished shellac finish.
