French Carved Commode Stand

About the Item

This French carved commode stand has an oval reddish marble top framed by molded edging. The door has a floral swag carved in high relief on a raised panel. The drawer and door are flanked by a recessed molded panel and carved raised rectangular panels. The sides and back are finished with panels recessed by applied flat molding strips. The legs are fluted with multiple turnings at the bottom. The lower part of the legs are supported by a molded curved “X” stretcher with an upright center finial. The marble is fixed.
