A French Louis XVI period wooden sauteuse from the late 18th century, with two drawers and tapered legs. Created in France at the end of King Louis XVI's reign, this wooden commode features a rectangular top with petite canted corners, sitting above two dovetailed drawers fitted with Classical brass hardware. Raised on four tapered legs mounted on petite brass feet, this Louis XVI petite commode circa 1790 will bring a touch of simple elegance to any bedroom or living room.
