An absolutely jaw-dropping custom commissioned vintage nine-drawer chest, circa 1980. Stout hardwood construction with exquisite bullnose detailing highlighting the drawer fronts and case sides. Painstakingly veneered in diagonally applied reed bamboo. Exceptional craftsmanship. A stunning architectural focal point that radiates fantastic warmth and texture. Excellent restored condition. The chest has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. All veneer is intact and complete. The bamboo displays a wonderful range of color and patina. The finish demonstrates a fabulous depth and sheen. The top measures 78“ wide x 19.75“ deep. The width and depth noted below are per the case.
