Mahogany Three-Drawer Biedermeier Chest

About the Item

This mahogany three-drawer Biedermeier chest has the original key to work all three drawers. The top is book matched mahogany and is cross banded with mahogany framed and edged with boxwood inlay. The top drawer has a recessed panel framed with brass molding with axe drop pulls ad shield escutcheons. The middle drawer has an arched recessed center panel with book matched flame mahogany. There is carved molding below the center drawer and the lower drawers have book matched flame mahogany that creates a continuous pattern from the top of the arch in the central drawer all the way through to the bottom of the lower drawer.
