Mid-20th Century Rococo Revival Carved Walnut Chest of Drawers
About the Item
Carved Scandinavian concealed chest of drawers circa 1940.
Designed in the Rococo style with drop down front to reveal 2 fitted birch drawers. Canted corners with applied carvings. Applied swag carvings to the front with lion heads. Standing on 4 legs with carved fish on the feet.
Top drawer with a later cutlery insert inside, but this could easily be removed if desired.
Working locks and key.
Recently re-polished and ready for everyday use.
