Pair French-Style Shapely Side Chests with a Hand Painted Urn & Wreath Motif

About the Item

A pair of French-style raised side chests with decoratively painted wood finish and shapely bodies. This vintage pair of commodes from America, have been designed with French influences and feature gently bowed bodies with scalloped top corners, and nicely raised on cabriole style legs. The cases are each fitted with a pair of doors which open to reveal hidden pull-out dove-tailed drawers (3 each) inside. The tops are faux marbled, and bodies are a red finish with charming floral urn and wreath motifs primarily in green and yellow. This vintage pair of painted side chests are a cute Size and will make great end tables in a seating arrangement or perhaps a nice pair of nightstands at bedsides. .
