Dramatic pair of Trapu commodes or chests of drawers by Scala Luxury Los Angeles, CA. The chests feature a matte black lacquered finish with a rich mahogany interior that showcases the woodgrains. The commodes have a serpentine or bow front fitted with two drawers each. The drawers have decorative round nickel plated pulls. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Sold as a pair. One chest has two chips on the edge that have been retouched as seen in photos.
