English Maple Davenport Desk of the Late Georgian Period

Constructed in a finely figured and patinated Maple; rising from a plinth base, incorporating four graduated drawers to the side, with turned wood knobs; the other three sides of fielded panel type, with a slide action writing cabinet having a hinged lifting top inset with a tooled leather surface, fitted with drawers to the interior, and an out swept gallery.
