19th Century Rustic French Painted Corner Cabinet

About the Item

19th century rustic Swedish painted corner cabinet features a wonderful distressed painted finish that reveals the natural color of the wood underneath an off white layer of paint which lies beneath the outermost layer of bluish-grey paint for a charming casual look! Subtle molded detail appears at the crown, separating the top tier from the bottom cabinet, and at the base. The top is fitted with two glazed doors so one can display family keepsakes or collectibles above, while the single door below opens wide to accommodate stored items. Pegged mortise and tenon joinery and solid, traditional craftsmanship ensure this will remain a family heirloom for generations to come. circa 1870s. Measures: 78 h x 35 w x 18.5 d; 21" corner to edge.
