Arthur Brett George III Style Crotch Mahogany Curved Corner China Curio Cabinet
About the Item
A petite English corner cabinet by Arthur Brett, circa 1980s. Features a curved form made from mahogany with a tall glass covered hutch, having ornate fretwork and two interior shelves. The base showcases two lower doors with crossbanded crotch mahogany panels and inlay. Opens to one removable shelf. The cabinet is supported by splayed legs between a serpentine apron. Crown is open pediment with turned trophy finial. Makers mark along backside. The cabinet breaks down into three pieces for ease of movement. Includes lock and key.
