Barbera 'Herodutus' Shelving Storage, Cast Brass and Marble
About the Item
Designed by Daniel Barbera, the 'Herodutus' shelving system elegant and sculptural. The sand cast uprights are cast in Brass and Iron, which can also be hand finished to a smooth mirror polish, with the option of a satin or blackened bronze, while the Iron is blackened or powdercoated. The vertical brass wavers in form, which creates a gentle movement as the eye follows the line.
The Herodutus is a shelving system designed to be designed by designers. We have a framework around the formula of sizing, but almost any width can be specified.

standard depth: 44cm (shallower or deeper can be specified)
width range: 60-300cm as a single piece frame. 300cm to unlimited width in modules
minimum shelf layers: 2
maximum shelf layers: 5
shelf layers at set intervals
shelfs can be omitted to allow for double height shelf (see last image as reference)

Based in Melbourne Australia, our team of skilled artisans, technicians and designers use a range of classic materials such as marble, bronze, steel, leather and timber to forge a refined aesthetic. Designed for use in domestic and commercial architectural spaces, our product ethos is focused around intelligent design outcomes and process orientated workings; fusing old industrial techniques with modern technology and high craftsmanship. We supply furniture globally, where designers can tailor each piece by specifying specific finishes or they can select from our curated range. Our pieces are fabricated by our team of artisans that hand make our designs in our studio and factory. BARBERA create timeless designs with a focus on product longevity.
