Long Credenza / Double Cabinet by Renzo Rutili for Johnson Furniture

About the Item

Gorgeous mid Century credenza / double cabinet by Renzo Rutili for Johnson Furniture Company, circa 1950s. This statement piece consists of two chests with gold leaf door fronts and lacquered cases, resting on a platform bench. Chests can be arranged together on one side or spaced apart. Each features an adjustable interior shelf. Back of chests are finished with a pagoda design and thus can float in a room if desired. Good structural condition, some cosmetic imperfections including scuffs, scratches, and dings. Front left leg missing brass cap (but can be replaced).
