Restored Gold Brutalist Credenza by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates

About the Item

You won't find a nicer version of this Adrian Pearsall Brutalist Credenza anywhere. The FMV restoration team covets this unique line and labors with love by techniques perfected over the years. The original plinth base could not be salvaged, so we fabricated a new one from solid pine and hand-painted the wood to match the semi-gloss original. The interior cabinet spaces were touched up with a fresh coat of black and we detailed the resin exterior from top to bottom. Lastly we clear-coated the black top surface with poly-finish to lock in the color and provide added resistance from wear. The end result looks outstanding and we encourage you to compare our competitors offerings closely to see the difference we offer. Impressive and hard to find Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates Brutalist credenza in gold. All four doors push-pop open to reveal large storage cabinets. The outside cabinets feature a fixed interior shelf, while the two interior doors open up to reveal a pull-out drawer and open storage below. The jet black cabinet top surface provides a captivating contrast to both the color and texture of the gold resin facade. The elaborately decorated resin surfaces were borrowed from Paul Evans premium Brutalist studio pieces. The resin on this credenza has a goopy, heavily textured surface mimicking molten metal. Although made of resin, the surface looks metallic with gunmetal gray, bronze, gold, and black tones. There are etched elements and goopy molded forms resembling large sunflowers. The timelessness of this piece cannot be overstated. An investment that is certain to appreciate over time. We have several more pieces from this Craft Associates Brutalist collection. Inquire if you are interested in the Brutalist dining table or dining chairs. We also have a matching loveseats, wall mounted bar, etagere, coffee table, and lounge chairs.
