This early cabinet is by A. B. Nordiska Kompaniet attributed to Carl Bergsten, 1918. Figural birch with inlay. The door opening is 12.5" wide and 21.2" high.
Swedish Grace: elegant and refined, yet delightfully simple. One of the briefest, yet among the most remarkable eras of 20th-century design would have to be Sweden’s romantic national style known as Swedish Grace, a culmination of neoclassical architecture and design.

- Condition:Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Professionally restored, there is a small mostly hidden area of loss behind the right front leg. The key is not original and does not lock the cabinet, but it does work as a knob to open the door.
