19th Century English Pine Welsh Step Back Cupboard Dresser
About the Item
Charming 19th century country English welsh step back cupboard or dresser with plate rack. Crafted from pine having a beautifully distressed patina on the finish. The one-piece case is fronted by two storage doors opening to a shelved storage area. The top of the dresser has a 1 inch thick board and is topped with a two-shelf plate rack. The rack has a corniced top decorated with whimsical forms of trefoil clover and heart motifs. Solid and strong with good joinery and a lovely aged patina full of character and charm. The pine has desirable wear and a warm honey toned finish from age. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
