Small And Charming 17th Century Original Press Cupboard C. 1670

About the Item

With a beautiful colour and natural deep patina, this charming joined oak press is original and of a small, very practical and usable size. In one piece, with original thickly hewn original backboards, the central door opens to upper and lower rows of original pegs and in the top there are two short hanging rails. This is a really good and most attractive example. Some minor natural shrinkage between the backboards and two open knots in the oak on the side panels. No faults or issues, structurally sound and really beautiful.
