circa 1880 George III Style Carved Solid Oak Chest, Green Man Writing Desk

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this 19th century heavily carved dark oak kneehole desk. An impressive green man desk with flowers and scrolls, the superstructure having a shaped gallery back, fitted with five short drawers and an inset leather writing surface. Followed on with three short drawers and one medium secret drawer, standing on turned and fluted legs. The condition of the desk is good for its age the top has a few minor marks/ signs of wear, which are to be expected with a desk of this age. Dimensions Height : 125cm Width : 130.5cm Depth: 78.5cm All our items are cleaned, coat of wax and polished for a exclusive finish. These items are vintage, so please be aware that most items will show signs of wear and tear due to their age, any major defects will be noted and shown in photographs.
