Set of Desks by Herbert Hirche for Holzäpfel 1950s
About the Item
Rare set of desks consisting of two individual desks with high-quality metal frame in black, two containers in teak veneer, each with four respectively three drawers and a small pen drawer. The tables can be freely combined or used individually.

Herbert Hirche
Herbert Hirche was a Bauhaus student from 1930–33, his teacher being Mies van der Rohe. Afterward, Hirche worked in van der Rohe’s office and later with Egon Eiermann. He continued as a professor at the State Academy of Fine Art in Stuttgart.
