Writing Desk by Jules Wabbes for Foncolin in 1957

About the Item

Jules Wabbes is one of the most important Belgian furniture designers from the post-war period. He is best known for his office furniture where he decorated office spaces with such as Glaverbel, Royal Belge and Foncolin, but he also made lamps, school furniture, and complete private interiors. His work is durable and subdued and is characterized by sensual use of materials.
